Naturopathic Physicians: 6.0 (pharmacy or general) continuing education hours per day have been approved by the Oregon Board of Naturopathic Examiners. (Board App. # 10-168) Nurses: Northwest Psychopharmacology Seminars is a continuing education provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider #CEP13054. This course provides 6.0 contact hours per day. These hours will be accepted by the Oregon State Board of Nursing. Pharmacists: 6.0 (therapeutics) continuing education hours per day have been approved by the Oregon Board of Pharmacy. Psychologists: This seminar meets continuing education criteria for psychologists licensed in Oregon for 6.0 continuing education hours. Social Workers/LCSWs: Robert M. Julien, MD, Ph.D. is accredited by an organization (the California Board of Registered Nursing) that the Oregon Board of Licensed Social Workers accepts and 6.0 continuing education hours per day may be used by LCSWs licensed in Oregon. Other: If your board is not listed, please check their current regulations to determine how to receive credit. Certificates will be provided at the end of each seminar. |
Northwest Psychopharmacology Seminars and Dr. Robert M. Julien provide an accredited opportunity for individuals who work with clients with physical or psychological illnesses and/or substance abuse problems for which they receive drug therapy to increase the scope of their pharmacological knowledge in a straightforward, easy to understand manner. Lecture material will be drawn from Dr. Julien's textbook, A Primer of Drug Action. (11th edition). If you have a copy of his text, you may find it helpful to bring it with you. |
